Parliamentarians of all countries unite - TransLink translates
From January, 22 till January, 26, 2007 TransLink Company takes part in the 15th session of the Asian - Pacific Parliamentary Forum as the official translator of this event.
During the forum parliamentarians from 27 countries - participants, including the USA, Japan and China, discuss the problems of international safety and struggle against terrorism, trade and economic cooperation and ecology, information technologies and education, and some other important issues.
The Council of Federation declared a tender for translation services at the forum among the largest Russian translation agencies. TransLink which has wide experience of participation in the international events of a similar level has won it. In 2006 "TransLink" served the G8 summit, the Tula Economic Forum and a number of other great events.
For professional translational support of the forum the company TransLink involved more than 80 specialists. They are interpreters, stenographers, editors and proof-readers of the highest level. And though the forum has been opened only today, experts have been working hard for many days to prepare it. Preliminary documents were translated, there was extensive preparation for oral translation. From now on simultaneous interpreters of TransLink have started their work .
According to the chairman of the Council of Federation Sergey Mironov who is the head of the Organization Committee of APPF this year, an opportunity to host participants of the anniversary forum is a great honour rendered to the Council of teh Federation. This is a significant event for Russian parliamentarians and for foreign policy of our country in general. The Russian party and TransLink Company try to do their utmost for successful conduct of the 15th session of APPF.
