TranslatorsOur translators are people whose competence has been tested by time and confirmed by our clients in such spheres as jurisprudence, economics, energy, medicine, and also artistic and scientific literature. Our company employs full-time experts—translators that perform all essential work, additionally we are capable of simultaneously involving up to a thousand non-staff translators. Thus we can cover a total of 40 languages! Besides language distribution, translators are categorized according to topic, i.e. the translator is not only a linguist, but also an expert in the specific field in which he/she translates, whether it be jurisprudence or economics. Many translators, before joining us, worked many years in their corresponding field of interest or have received a second degree in that field. In addition, TransLink adheres to a very rigid hiring policy. Before employment, translators must pass a specialized test for professional suitability and knowledge of the “Translation Memory” system. We appreciate, carefully protect and make effective use of the experience of our legendary colleagues.
EditorsOur editors are highly skilled translators with editing experience of more than 15 years. Being the qualified experts that they are, professionals in their field with real life work experience, they not only edit translations, but also supervise the entire process from start to finish as part of specialized translation teams. All editors, as well as translators, work only in their unique subjects, which allows for competent distribution of translation work and assignment according to the "thematic addressing" principle.
ProofreadersOur proofreaders - are professional experts in the field of proofreading text. It is no secret that even after an excellent translation is produced, there can still be typing errors in the text. Therefore, before forwarding the finished translation to the client or sending it for layout or a seal, the text is checked by a proofreader.
Layout designersOur layout designers are professional programmers, experts in working with specialized and regular layout programs such as: Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, QuarkXPress (ĐŃ), ImageReady, HomeSite, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, 3ds MAX, and Adobe ImageReader.
Translator managersOur translator managers are highly skilled in the world of modern technologies—the Internet, satellite communications, the “Trados” translation system and “Transit.” They are young and active professional managers. They not only supervise and control the translation process, but also are an additional verifying link in the chain of the translation process. These employees are characterized by energy, high work capacities and the aspiration to surpass all expectations.
Client managersOur client managers are those with whom it is possible to solve any problem related to your translation, at any time – day or night. If you need help outside of our official business hours of Monday till Friday from 9 A.M. till 7 P.M., you can contact us on our priority telephone hotlines both in Moscow and in Saint Petersburg. Employees in our sales department are always glad to speak with you, even visit you in your office, in order to provide a more detailed description of the services rendered by our company.
Technical department expertsOur technical department experts trace the key working parameters of our electronic systems; servers, electronic databases, registrars, and electronic order forms. Our technical department works 24 hours a day to make it easy for you to place your order!
